Empty nesters Jay and Virginia Baker looked at their farm in a new way once their three children were away at college. They saw the potential for vineyards on the land, with rocky coil, high elevation and sunny exposure. Along with their adult children, they started a winery. This family winery is having a lot of fun, forging new standards for Maryland wine.
