100% Malvasia Nera
Good exposure and ventilation typical of a peninsula surrounded by the sea. Mainly clayey soils, but there is no lack of fine limestone soils with limited thickness and good drainage of red, pebbly, and mineral-rich soils.
Pressing and maceration to extract color and soft tannins. Fermentation at controlled temperature in steel tanks and racking. The wine rests and ages for a period before bottling to make the tannins softer and sweeter.
Intense fragrances reminiscent of red fruit jam, black currant, and cherry jam. Ethereal notes of pepper and licorice.
Warm, round and soft in the mouth, with fruity notes, soft tannins and a persistent ethereal aftertaste.
Perfect with red meats, game, aged cheeses. Due to its characteristics it can, however, be appreciated even without particular combinations, as a meditative wine.
