Owner, Kelly Allen, is our former Assistant Manager. The bitters are local and the small business is woman-led.
Artemisia bitters are artisan botanical extracts. Using native botanicals, capturing the subtleties of the farm's landscape, blending the medicinal and the artisanal into an embodied experience. The bitters are about intention. Using plants native to our region, creating a more sustainable cocktail narrative.
"Our craft is storytelling. Your work is sharing the beauty of moments. We tell our stories together."
Tasting of faded bonfires and sun-warmed pine, Quercus is the autumnal journey inward, where the yearns of the year spin ensconced in lantern light. Laden tables and full glasses, hands at rest and hearts at ease, Quercus is a hearth amidst the snowy dark of winter.
Rounded and broadly bitter, slightly spiced at the close, with a mid palate defined by aged spicebox and tobacco.
French oak staves, vanilla bean, petrichor, sun-dried pine, bitter orange rind, grated nutmeg, cut ice, acorn, granite, moss, bonfire, char, applewood.
Bourbon, rum, mezcal, fruit, sweet vermouth, oloroso, dark amari
