This small family-owned Burgundian domaine has been around for two centuries, currently in its 6th generation with David Dubuet at the helm. Located in Monthélie neighboring famous such as Volnay and Meursault, their 8 hectares are spread across Beaune, Meursault, Auxey-Duresses, Savigny-Les-Beaune, and Pernand-Vergelesses. The domaine practices "lutte raisonnée" in the vineyards without the use of pesticides or herbicides. The production of pinot noir and chardonnay is primarily bottled in single cuvées from lieux-dits and premier crus.
This particular Meursault comes from two vineyards considered among the best of the Village climats: Le Limozin (located near Meursault 1st Cru Genevrières) and Vireuils (Higher up on the slope, more towards Auxey-Duresses). This wine is vinified in 20% new oak.
